38 weeks and counting

Edema, carpal tunnel and a bowling ball. Thats what the 38th week of pregnancy has brought me. After working 3 nights in a row (not a good idea I may add) my legs/feet were sooooo swollen!

Therefore, some compression TED hose were in order. They look much better than this, but still swelling a bit, especially after work! And let me tell you, trying to bend over to put anything on my lower legs or feet is painful let alone knee high or waist high compression stockings--ITS A CHORE!

I've also now been experiencing tingling and numbness in my hands...my midwife has now told me I have carpal tunnel of pregnancy--FUN! :) She said I can wear wrist splints, which I wasn't too keen on right away, but am slowly changing my mind as this baby still doesn't want to arrive yet.

As for the bowling ball, well, that would be what it feel like anytime I am upright, a bowling ball in my pelvis. Yes, I know this probably a good sign. John asked the other day if I was doing ok because I am walking funny. I quickly told him it was because of the bowling ball which has lodged itself in my pelvis. That will be something I look forward to ending. :)

Overall, my pregnancy hasn't been THAT bad. A bit of swelling my last couple weeks, sickness the first bit, but otherwise fairly uneventful! Thank goodness.

And as for "nesting" ...If finishing up ordering baby gear online is nesting, then we are there! just kidding. We have begun to overhaul the house, I think John is sympathy nesting as well. :) We can't wait for Baby Wilson to arrive!!!
