Two Months!

Baby J turned 2 months this weekend!  Just as she was born on a BEAUTIFUL 60 degree weather January day, she turned two months old on a BEAUTIFUL 90 degree weather March day!  CRAZY!  She is now a whopping 10lbs, 5oz!  She has been smiling a LOT and cooing.  I LOVE holding conversations with her.  She definitely recognizes mom and dad these days.  This past week she even started sleeping most of the night and usually only waking up once in the night! She is such a happy girl.   She LOVES her baths,  her paci, and sleeping on her belly.  She doesn't sit more than 5 min in her bouncer or swing, but loves being held and worn in the wrap or carrier.  She also enjoys stroller rides.  It seems these days that her bonde hair has since become more strawberry blonde!

Daddy got her to fall asleep in her bouncer chair for the first time! She was loving her elephant wubbanub. :)

Rockin the Cloth

Rocking some cloth diapers! We have absolutely enjoyed using cloth diapers with little Jay. I honestly just smile everytime I walk past disposable diapers and wipes knowing that is just one less thing I have to buy ALL THE TIME! There are so many different types of cloth diapers and they are much more user friendly (and cute!) than many people think!

Like Father, Like Daughter

Daddy Daughter naptime. This is what I came home to the other day after running some errands. I love how they pretty much mirrored eachother! Very cute!

Babysitting and First outdoor walk

First walk with Jaymeson AND dogs! Wasn't sure how this was going to go down, but turned out wonderfully! The weather was nice and thanks to my Moby and the dogs' harnesses everything went well! Can't wait to do it again in this wonderful weather we are having lately!

Nana and Poppa got to babysit for mom and dad's first date night! It was great to be out of the house just the two of us! And I'm sure Nana and Poppa were excited to have some alone time with Jay. Thanks again Nana and Poppa!

Bath Time and Favorites

Jay seems to really embrace the "cleansing" of bath time. On multiple occasions she feels that after bath time is over (or so I thought), she decides to clean out her stomach (spit up), her bladder (pee), and her bowels (poop) all in the towel and sometimes multiple times! We have had to "re-bathe" every once in a while. :) But how can you get mad at this cute face and crazy after bath hair!

First Playdate and Megan & Titus visit

Jaymes had her first playdate with her friend Isla! Jay slept the whole time, but I would like to think they enjoyed themselves! Can't wait to get together again soon!

Titus took quite a bit to warm up to all of us, so these precious moments were cherished! He is getting so big! He was not much of a fan of Megan holding Jaymeson, so this is about the only good picture I got before he freaked out! :)

Great Grandma Brandt and Great Grandma Jeanne were able to come hang out and see their great grandchildren for a while!

Aunt Megan brought a TON of Claire's clothes for Jaymeson to borrow for a while! This is one of the cute little outfits she brought! Jaymeson will be stylin.

And before Meg and Titus had to leave we had a wonderful lunch together! Titus had finally warmed up to us and even reached out to go to Aunt Caela many times! He is such a sweet boy.

Jaymeson's First Road Trip

Jaymeson went on her first road trip! We went out to Colorado at the end of February to visit family and friends! We spent some time in Fort Collins to visit Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Chris, Aunt Kelly, Great Grandpa Brewer, & Great Grandpa Richard and Great Grandma Francis. Then we went onto the Denver area to visit Great Grandpa Frank, Great Grandma Bernice and finally Uncle Matt and Aunt Shawn (as well as Lola and Chester! :) ). Jaymeson did very well in the car but was completely over her carseat on the ride home! As great as it was to see family, I think it will be a bit before we make another road trip with a little one! :)
